From a comment on my latest Glassdoor post

Glassdoor? More like Revolving Door with UPS..! Have recordings, photos, documents, highlighting fraud, racism, bullying, slander etc etc... Tried to inform UPS, Channel 4 Dispatches and Panarama showing more interest. What do do.?????

Been there got the book, T-Shirt & video. Though I suppose it's DVD these days, or computer game. In fact if I didn't know better i'd think you were me.

I get the impression UPS are able to pay everyone off to stop the bad publicity getting out.

It doesn't seem to matter what type of organisation it is, Union, Solicitors, etc., see posts for other examples.

UPS seem to be able to throw enough filthy lucre at it.

UPS parcel strike called off, as rep is reinstated

Staff at UPS Parcels in central London have called off their strike on Friday (20 December), after it was agreed that the conciliation service Acas would broker talks in the New Year over unreasonable workloads and alleged bullying.

Talks between Unite, the country’s largest union, and the management yesterday (Monday 16 Monday) also saw the reinstatement of the sacked UPS steward.

Unite regional officer Onay Kasab said: “After the management agreed to reinstate our shop steward, who, in our view, was unfairly dismissed, Unite has called off Friday’s strike at UPS’ Camden depot.

“Both parties have agreed to go to Acas early in the New Year to resolve the ongoing dispute. The reinstatement of our steward is a victory for worker solidarity – and we will be going into the Acas talks in a positive frame of mind.

The 120 Camden drivers and loaders work at the biggest UPS depot in Europe,

UPS kangaroo court

UPS held a disciplinary meeting yesterday.
It followed a driver's accident.

The drivers accident form, i.e. his account of the accident had been filled in by the Manager. (Dr. Scott Fowler)
There were no witness reports, despite there being a named witness on the above accident report.
There were no automotive/mechanical reports, despite the road-worthiness of the vehicle being in question.

So how can a decision be made without the full information? At least adjourn the meeting and reconvene when all the information has been gathered. Then sack him. I thought Dan was better than that. He's taken the Davis shilling.

The outcome was preconceived, I meant to post that this would be the decision, prior to the meeting, to prove the point. Several UPS employees had told me that the driver was going to be sacked.......................He was.


I'm sure that the driver will appeal against the decision, which will not be overturned.

Let's see what Unite can do for him.

When I looked at my blog earlier this week, this post was being read.

Someone doing some more homework?

I have a new follower on twitter. It would appear to be Richard Bedford of the Unite Union. (Not been on twitter for for a while, too much of a time waster.) Maybe the two are linked. That's a new follower and reading the post. Not Unite & UPS, although in my mind they worked together, conveniently & complicitly. Far too many co-incidences for it just to have been incompetence.

Interesting to have him following me, seeing as Unite never replied to my e-mails.
Maybe Richard has got wind of papers being served on UPS. 

I would have thought that all the dodgy dealings by UPS would have given Unite some strong leverage. Shows how wrong you can be. But, there again, It would seem that other "forces" may have been in play.

I'll be dealing with them, & my fraud complaint, so far unanswered by the police, at a later date. (If you know what I mean :-) )

You may, or may not, remember (I hadn't) that I had chased Unite again.

Initially I had a promising sounding response

Despite a couple of chasers, I have still received sweet FA.

This does nothing to change my opinion that Albert Graham & the Union were paid off by UPS.

Further backed up by the fact that I never received any details (as I requested) of Albert's report to the Police, nor a visit from the boys in blue.

I wish to raise a complaint of harassment against Unite-the Union.

You have, to date, failed to follow-up my previous complaint about your official, Albert Graham

You have, to date, failed to answer any of my other questions.

It has been claimed that Unite did not assist me in a claim against UPS because I was not a member of Unite-The Union. This has still not been fully explained.

If I am not a member of Unite-The Union, please explain why I keep receiving e-mails addressed to me as a member of Unite-The Union.

In relation to the harassment that you are subjecting me to, I would like the following by close of business tomorrow.

1 The name of a contact who has the authority to deal with this case of harassment

2 A reference number that I can quote for easy reference.

Further to this, I would like someone to update me on my previous complaint regarding Albert Graham. As with the harassment I would like,

I currently wish to resolve these issues amicably.

Should you fail to deal with either of these issues with the courtesy and respect that I think these issues deserve, (and have previously failed to receive) you will leave me no option but to add your harassment to the case of fraud within UPS that I am referring to the Police.

Now I'm sure that UPS will try and claim that this is harassment, but it was UPS that tweeted about safety.

EVERY single one of my points is 100% accurate.

EVERY single one of my posts has been 100% honest, except the statement by Albert Graham.

I am still asking....

Why are the HSE not interested? especially when you consider that this contains nothing about bullying.

Why are VOSA and the DfT not responding to me?

Why is Unite supporting UPS, you would have thought that I would be giving them some ammunition to improve working conditions for their members. It  would seem that the union are only interested in lining their own pockets........by whatever means.  (cue more bollocks from Albert)

Albert Graham was not my only contact with Unite. Richard Bedford would also seem to be happy for UPS to harass, intimidate and bully his members.
