is it just me or are there unfamiliar names down as transport managers? https://www.tan.gov.uk/tanen/vosa_anonymousoperatorsearch_new.asp (search 'UPS)
I don't recognise some names and other names are not in the traffic areas listed...

What ? You're not suggesting UPS would be dishonest are you? They'd have you.

More Anonymity

Not quite sure what your problem is. (maybe the truth hurts) I'm not forcing you to read any of this. Haven't you worked out what all these posts are? and more importantly why they are here? I couldn't care less if 61 countries have viewed so far, or that there have been almost 13,000 hits on here. It's my blog and it's here for a purpose.

I'd be interested to know your position in the Company, I'm guessing you're a Division Manager, and probably one I know well.
You obviously haven't understood the word - dedication. (see my previous post)
If these are desperate rantings of a desperate man the use of tad isn't correct. It's a contradiction.
Are these rants or just a record of the truth.

I pity your lack of integrity and honesty, and that of your colleagues, but just like Jimmy Savile, once you start fiddling and getting away with it, you can't stop, can you?. Now that it has spread like wildfire through the Company, how is it going to stop?

As in a previous post of mine, read your contract, I'm pretty sure that you are in breach of yours. Why is it one rule for you and the rest of the Management and another rule for those that you would describe as the plebs?

Anyone want to test him and apply for his job? If you want to know how to oust him, or any other dishonest Manager, seek and ye shall find, or ask, and it shall be given unto you.

Nobody has yet told me why UPS need to block my e-mails.
Nobody has yet proved me wrong on the lack of integrity in the Company.
Nobody has proved me wrong on the bullying in the Company.
Etc., etc., etc.

Why? You can't.

I could if I wished, e-mail UPS employees anonymously. I choose not to. Why? I'm not the one with something to hide.

Great post by Dave

UPS MANAGERS EASY-LIFE in IGNORANCE

What an easy life it must be for all senior executives at The United Parcel Service
All they need is a telephone to pass the buck! And a delete button on their computers!
You can just imagine a situation where a minion in the company has a problem he sees his Supervisor!
Who phones/emails his Manager
Who phones/emails his Centre Manager
Who phones/emails his District Manager
Who phones/emails his Division Manager
Who phones/emails his Country Manager
Who phones/emails the CEO (Scot Davis)
Who eventually phones/emails his Country Manager back and says you deal with it
Who eventually phones/emails his Division Manager back and says you deal with it
Who eventually phones/emails his District Manager back and says you deal with it
Who eventually phones/emails his Centre Manager back and says you deal with it
Who eventually phones/emails his Junior Manager back and says you deal with it
Who eventually phones/emails his supervisor back and says you deal with it and give up wasting our time!
Who calls the Minion into the office and says you are dismissed.
This will of course take about three weeks and each call will have been preceded by a call/email
To the HR department and several departmental Managers at each level!
Policies And Procedures will have been completely circumvented, Compliance and Ethics will
have been completely ignored and the UPS Code of Business Conduct will have been re-written, or torn up.
All relevant emails will have been deleted and evidence will have been fabricated or covered up.
When or if all this fails the top men will say throw a bit of cash at it, involve a couple of Barristers and solicitors,
And make it go away!

Sorry I have used some big words that Most United Parcel Company Manager won’t be able to understand
But explanations are available in most Dictionaries. ( “Policies”, “Procedures”,”Compliance”, “Ethics”,” Circumvented”
And “Code of Business Conduct”)

Now why does that seem familiar?

Prove me wrong

There was an outcry at my use of the word Pleb.

Has anybody done anything to check out what I have said and done?

Have you asked around?

Have you reported anything?

No? Why not? Someone else's job?

You are all now complicit if you don't take any action.

I will look forwards to hearing the details of your actions.

I wouldn't suggest making an officially complaint yet.

This is what will happen!!

Every Manager, safe in the knowledge that he/she will be "looked after", will deny everything that you have said or e-mailed. H.R. will decided that this is choosing to remember or forget.

Your grievance hearing will not follow the correct procedures. Even if there is e-mail proof as evidence.

You will be given no right to appeal, if you do it will be ignored.

A Division Manager, safe in the knowledge that he is protected, will even tell you that he remembered what he had denied.

If you then put this in a grievance, the Company will run down the clock in answering the grievance, then they will do nothing.

Here is a suggestion.

You have seen the information on my blog about various Centre Managers, Division Managers, Country Managers, District Managers, function Managers & even the CEO.

When you have your next Centre Planning meeting or Managers meeting, look these Managers in the eye and ask them if Mike Whitehead is being honest on his blog. I say do this in a meeting, then you will have witnesses. You have seen the list of names that I have published already. Richard Watts is the Division Manager named above. The next time Richard comes and does his talk on integrity, laugh at him. Put these hypocrites to the test.

Ask Cindy, Tony, Craig & Steve if they still think 4 on to 1 isn't intimidation.

There are many people on my mailing list that know what went on in Dewsbury. Automotive, H.R., Security, Safety, BQA teams etc. These are not the named Managers, these are other employees choosing to ignore what happened. These employees claimed to have high morals and ethics.
Why would they be scared to report anything?
Some of these other employees are in fairly high positions.

Let me know how you go on, prove you are not plebs.

These people aren't untouchables.

I know that some of you have been unfairly treated in the past. Now you can bring the chickens home to roost

More from CIPD

What happened to health and safety?

The smart money today is on well-being – and, according to Philip Gennoy, HR director of insurance giant Allianz, that’s because taking a more holistic view of employee health, with a particular focus on preventing debilitating illnesses, makes sound commercial sense.
“It’s more engaging to talk to someone about their health than to do a desktop assessment,” Gennoy told a seminar at the conference. “And if you’re serious about productivity, marginal improvements in well-being can make a massive difference to your financial results.
“A lot of current [HR] practitioners have H and S as a bedrock… but the reasons people are off work are very rarely about accidents that happened at work. It has far more to do with other things in their lives. A focus on health and safety it misses the reasons people are absent, how fit and productive they are and whether they are stressed,” he said.
Allianz – with 4,000 employees in the UK – uses levels of long-term sickness, and time taken to rehabilitate people back into work, as key business metrics. But it also empowers local business units to do the softer stuff, including massage and reflexology, that gives its staff a lift and might help stave off illness. It looks for HR employees who “get” the well-being agenda, as well as upskilling its existing staff.
The cost of absence per employee is down to £600 this year, from £673 in 2011, according to the CIPD Absence Management Report 2012. But in certain industries, and pockets of the public sector, it wouldn’t be hyperbolic to describe long-term sickness as an epidemic. As an insurer, Allianz has a vested interest in keeping us all fit and healthy; as an employer, it’s clearly come to the same conclusion.

Business Values Report

From the CIPD

Business values aren't worth the paper they're written on

According to our latest Employee Outlook report, 40% of employees believe corporate values aren't worth the paper they're written on. Just 33% said that individuals were reprimanded for consistent rule breaking, indicating that employers aren't doing enough to ensure that business values are being upheld. Go to the report to read more about current perceptions of organisational values.
Yesterday, CIPD CEO Peter Cheese used his first address to our Annual Conference to set out an ambitious new 'broader purpose for HR'. He referenced the findings from our Employee Outlook survey and talked about 'a greater need than ever for our profession to step up'. Read more about Peter Cheese's speech.
The People Management team are busy collecting the latest HR news and comment from our Annual Conference and Exhibition. Follow the events as they happen via the @PeopleMgt Twitter feed and you can always catch up with the latest news and search for HR jobs on PM's website.
In the news this week PM highlighted a drop in engagement as employers fail to discuss future career plans with workers. Do you feel able to discuss workplace ambitions with your line manager? Let us know in this week's poll.
Votes from last week's poll on employee ownership reveal that: 32% of you think it's a bad idea, 31% say there's no evidence that it'll be of any benefit, 27% feel the plans are unclear, which leaves just 10% voting in favour of it.

Hacking

How childish.

Put my Church links back please. It's not as if I can't find the sites

It's got nothing to do with UPS yet.

Again not my first chaser, Still no reply

Unite update

Over a month now, and that wasn't my first e-mail, still no response

Get a life, said anonymous

Spoken like a true UPS Manager, anonymously.

At least you've acknowledged UPS ruined my life.

I am about to get a life. Be careful what you wish for.

It is your choice to read what I have posted, you are entitled to your opinion.

I note that there have been no anonymous replies. No-one prepared to try and prove me wrong?

Here's a scenario for you to contemplate, next time you read your contract.

Why is no-one from C & E asking me questions?
Why is nobody from Security asking me questions?
Why are employees scared to come back to me with any information? (and I don't mean those Managers that lied giving evidence for my grievance hearing. They are plenty of employees on this list who knew what was going on at Dewsbury, and other centres)
Why is nobody trying to prove me wrong?
