employment relations issues, are normally managed within the framework of wider
employment legislation. This is the responsibility of the Department of
Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS).
HSE does not have the power to investigate individual employee
relations cases, and it is the policy of HSE to not investigate individual cases
of stress. HSE therefore advises that if the matters cannot be resolved
