NHS, UPS style

From the Telegraph

Sir David Nicholson receives full backing of NHS board

Health campaigners stormed out of a meeting of senior NHS officials today as Sir David Nicholson, the chief executive of the NHS, was given the full backing of his board.

A member of the public shouted "shameful" as Professor Malcolm Grant, chairman of the NHS Commissioning Board, said Sir David was the person "we wish very strongly" to lead it.
Sir David has faced calls to quit following the publication earlier this month of the Francis Report into serious failings at Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust between 2005 and 2009. Up to 1,200 are thought to have died due to "appalling" care.
Prof Grant said he had been "deeply worried" by speculation in the media about Sir David's future, as he believed the chief executive was "fundamental to the success" of the organisation.
He said: "Over the recent weeks I have reflected on several occasions with David about what has been said in the press.
"I have discussed it personally with each of the directors of the Commissioning Board and I have discussed it collectively with the non-executive directors of the board.

Hang on, hasn't he come up with a cunning way of reducing the Hospital waiting lists, the over-crowding in Hospitals, the over -crowding of Britain by Immigrants, legal or not, give this man a medal and a vast pay rise and a bonus and a knighthood.

What? We already have?

OH!!!!
