To protect all workers, something the Union have ignored.
To get a change in the laws on grievances.
The statutory right has been removed, now its just a code of practice.
It would seem that as long as you have a procedure, there is no need to follow it.
i.e. you can just run the clock down deliberately and snuff out time constraints on other issues.
Is that fair on employees anywhere? Not just UPS.
Where is the integrity in that practice? Even if it is legal.
