From Lisa Bradshaw

Hello Mike,
As per my earlier emails, if you would like to raise an official grievance, please could you provide specifics in writing with evidence to back up your new concerns through the formal grievance procedure and address either to your Manager or Division Manager, Rob Burrows. If you decide to formalise this matter please copy your correspondence to either myself or Barbara Garrett, HR Specialist.
Regards,
Lisa

A quick way of cheating on SPC is to put a centre board on road.
How can you have;
Info notice fails on a centre board
Left at's on a centre board
Send agains on a centre board
If the board doesn't go out of the building.
I will give the Occupational Health the same information that I gave my doctor and will state that the issues that occurred at Dewsbury are still occurring thoughout the UK,

Hello Mike,
As discussed previously, I recall that we discussed some history regarding integrity issues which occurred several years ago at the Dewsbury centre and which were not resolved to your satisfaction. I feel it is unfair to make broad statements that all integrity issues are brushed under the carpet, during our discussion last year I gave you the opportunity to discuss anything on your mind and asked if you had any current concerns, as I recall at that time you advised me that there were no new issues. Your underlying concern was that you were unhappy that the old issues had not been resolved to an extent which would have satisfied you.
It is correct that at UPS we believe integrity is fundamental and I would like to reassure you that every formal integrity issue is investigated thoroughly, unfortunately it is not possible for me to investigate the specifics regarding your previous concerns again but I can advise you that if any new grievance is raised formally which concerns integrity issues it will be investigated and the appropriate action taken.
It is not possible to specify what would be treated as a serious integrity issue and what would not, as each issue would have to be treated on its individual circumstances. I can only reiterate that if there is something specific on your mind at present regarding an integrity issue that you bring it to the company's attention formally as anything which is deemed as serious would be a significant cause for concern.
At UPS we try to treat all employees equally and fairly, your referral to Occupational Health is to better understand your medical condition which you have advised is the cause of your memory and concentration issues, without this understanding we can not support you to overcome any difficulties arising in your day to day activities as an On Car Supervisor.
Regards,
Lisa

It is not a formal grievance it is background information to take to Arriva.
When we spoke last year I discussed integrity issues that had been swept under the carpet over many years. This was a follow up to the BEQ questionnaire on integrity within the Company. These issues are the cause of my concentration problems and therefore my memory recall.
In my opinion the Company is only interested in results and are happy to turn a blind eye to "indiscretions" unless the offender is on a hit list.

Is this a formal grievance that you would like to raise in relation to a specific concern or integrity issue?
Our discussion on 11th November 2010 was in relation to a referral to Occupational Health and not related to integrity issues.
Please can you supply more details regarding your concerns and I will determine how best to proceed and assist you.

Lisa

We Insist Upon Integrity in Our People.
We understand that integrity is fundamental to how we run our business and essential to maintain compliance with our policies and legal requirements. Operating with integrity means we provide an atmosphere in which our people can perform their jobs in an ethical manner. We present our company honestly to employees and, in turn, expect them to be honest with us.The great majority of our people are of high moral character. However, when we do discover a dishonest person in our organization, we deal with that individual quickly and firmly. For our company to be known for its integrity, each one of us must meet high standards. As a follow up to the meeting 11th November 2010, and July 2009 (ish), and as information for Arriva
I have a question.
How many Integrity issues does it take to become one too many integrity issues?
Zero tolerance to a lack of integrity within in the company obviously doesn't happen.
At what point does a lack of integrity become an issue or a concern?
Is it only when the Centre or Centre Manager isn't getting the right results?
Regds
Mike
